Alexander Povetkin is the honorable mention after Marco Huck. Mosquera, Vasquez and Córdoba enter the ranking again.

The World Boxing Association posted February ranking, and selected Heavyweight Super Champion Wladimir Klitschko as the Boxer of the Month.

When Wladimir Klitschko defeated Jean Marc Mormeck by KO 4, improved his record to  57 victories, 3 defeats and 50 KO’s, in his first title defense.

Alexander Povetkin received the honorable mention, after defeating Marco Huck, on his second title defense of his heavyweight title, improving his undefeated record of 24 victories with 16 KO’s.

It also highlights the presentation of Brian Magee, who knocked out Rudy Markusen in the fifth round, to retain his interim belt of 168 pounds
Mosquera, Vasquez y Cordoba again in the ranking.

Former Panamanian champions Vicente Mosquera, Roberto Vasquez and Ricardo Cordoba return to be among the top 15 of their divisions within the WBA ranking.
Mosquera is number 15 at 140 pounds, while Vasquez is eighth in the bantamweight, and Cordoba is 14 in the super bantamweight.

Other changes
Travis Walker, Shane Cameron and Shawn Cox entered the ranking.

Yonfrez Parejo appears as number 13 in the bantamweight, followed by Filipino John Apolinario and Mexican Julio Ceja.

Petch Kokietgym also slipped into the 15th position of the 115-pound division. It also highlights the Lightweight division where the Title became vacant.

Similarly, there is neither interim champion nor first contender in the middleweight where FelixSturm and Gennady Golovkin command, after the French-Cameroonian J’kam relinquished his title.

Alexander Povetkin se llevó la mención después de su triunfo ante Marco Huck. Mosquera, Vásquez y Córdoba vuelven al escalafón

La Asociación Mundial de Boxeo anunció el ranking correspondiente al mes de febrero. Además, seleccionó al supercampeón pesado Wladimir Klitschko como el boxeador del mes.

Con su victoria por nocaut en el cuarto asalto, ante Jean Marc Mormeck, el ucraniano Klitschko dejó su hoja de servicio en 57 victorias, con 3 derrotas y 50 KO, en su primera defensa del súper fajín.

Por su parte, Alexander Povetkin se quedó con la mención, después de vencer por decisión a Marco Huck, en lo que significó la segunda defensa de su cinturón de campeón mundial de los pesados.

El ruso sigue invicto después de 24 combates, y 16 enviados a la lona.

Resalta también la presentación de Brian Magee, quien durmió en el quinto round a Rudy Markusen, para retener su cinturón interino de las 168 libras.

Mosquera, Vásquez y Córdoba vuelven al ranking

Los ex campeones panameños Vicente Mosquera, Roberto Vásquez y Ricardo Córdoba vuelven a ubicarse entre los 15 primeros de sus respectivas divisiones, dentro del escalafón AMB.
Mosquera figura 15 en las 140 libras, mientras que Vásquez está octavo, en el peso gallo, y Córdoba está de 14 en supergallo.

Otros cambios resaltantes
También entraron al ranking los boxeadores Travis Walker, Shane Cameron, Shawn Cox.

Yonfrez Parejo figura 13 del peso gallo, seguido del filipino John Apolinario, y el mexicano Julio Ceja.

Petch Kokietgym también se coló en el puesto 15 de la división de las 115 libras.

Además, resalta la división de los pesos ligeros donde quedó vacante el campeonato.

Igualmente, no hay campeón interino o primer retador del peso mediano que comandan Felix Strum y Gennady Golovkin, con la renuncia del frances-camerunes J’kam.
