The WBA regrets to inform the sensible pass Away of Mrs. Frances Miller, mother of our International Official Tom MillerAUSTINTOWN – Frances M. Miller, 76, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, April 16, 2013, at Omni Manor following a brief illness.

Frances was born July 19, 1936, in Campbell, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Repko Hudak, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1954 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, where she was a majorette with the marching band and a member of the Red Devil Dance Line.

Mrs. Miller worked from 1955 to 1959 for GE Appliance Wholesalers on Rayen Avenue. She later worked as an office manager for Dr. Lin in the late 1980s, and as an aide for Omni West Assisted Living, retiring in 2001.

She enjoyed dancing, reading, and watching movies on the Lifetime Network.

Her husband, Thomas J. Miller, whom she married July 11, 1959, passed away June 22, 1999.

Mrs. Miller leaves two sons, Thomas (Judy) Miller of Mineral Ridge and Michael Miller of Austintown; two granddaughters, Brei and Isabella Miller; a sister, Marie Tomocik of Youngstown; two brothers, Stephen Hudak of Denver and Bernard (Joyce) Hudak of Hanover, Pa.; many nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her “Aunt Frannie;” and her best friend and caregiver, Karen Hoye of Austintown.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen, Agnes, Matilda, and Anne; and by two brothers, Andrew and Thomas Hudak.

Frances was laid to rest on Thursday afternoon, April 18, next to her husband at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown. At her request, there were no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512, in memory of Frances.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.
