Hrunov Promotions won the promotional rights for the mandatory fight between Vladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin, bidding US $ 23,233,330.

The Ukranian Klitschko is the Heavyweight super champion while the Russian Povetkin is the regular champion of the division.

The bidding took place at the World Boxing Association headquarters in Panama and was directed by Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, vice-president of the ecumenical organization and chairman of the Championships Committee.

K2 Promotions and Sauerland Events representatives also attended the bidding process and offered US$ 7,130,000 and US$ 6,014,444, respectively.

Vladimir Hrunov announced that the date for the fight will be August 31 2013, in a site TBA. So far, the three possible cities are Mocow, Berlin and Las Vegas, said Hrunov.

La empresa Hrunov Promotions ganó la subasta para la pelea mandatoria entre Vladimir Klitschko y Alexander Povetkin, por la cifra de 23,233,330 dólares.

El ucraniano Klitschko es el súper campeón de la división, mientras que el ruso Povetkin es el monarca regular de los pesados.

El acto fue realizado en las oficinas de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo en Panamá, y dirigido por Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, vicepresidente del ente ecuménico y del Comité de Campeonatos Mundiales.

En la oferta también participaron los representantes de K2 Promotions, y de Sauerland Event GmbH, quienes ofertaron 7 millones 130 mil dólares y 6 millones 14 mil 444 dólares, respectivamente.

Vladimir Hrunov anunció que la fecha de la pelea será el 31 de agosto de 2013, en sede a escoger. Hasta el momento, según explicó, hay tres posibilidades, Moscú, Berlín y Las Vegas.

La bolsa será repartida en 75% para el súper campeón y 25% para el campeón regular.
