Cazares ready to clash with Morales on Saturday

Arriving from his hometown of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, WBA super flyweight world champion Hugo “Incredible” Cazares arrived in Mexico City, and he was accompanied by Mr. Fernando Montiel and his son Eduardo Montiel who are responsible for their preparation.
The champion was in good spirits and was well received by representatives of the Mexican press. Hugo plans to put on a show this Saturday, July 3 at the Convention Center, making the first defense of his WBA title against Everardo Morales.
“Almost as soon as I returned from Japan, I resumed with my training. Nacho Huizar told me about the possibility that this [date] would be my first defense and there was almost no break after fighting Nashiro. I’m fine, I feel strong and fast, and I’m near the weight so there will be no problem at the scale,” Cazares said.
“Me and [Morales] are almost the same age, we both have traveled a long way just in different parts and had different results. I am the champion and he is the challenger, as I told you I am well prepared to defend my championship. I went through a lot to get the opportunity to once again become the world champion and I won’t throw my effort away.”
“[Morales] does not scare me at all. The only thing I want is not to disappoint the people who will go to see my fight or plan to watch on television. I will remain the champion because I have goals to meet personally and professionally.”
Immediately after arriving, Cazares was brought to the hotel to rest, eat something light and scheduled a training session for later in the day.
